PLYMOUTH — "I love my job, I get to be best friends with 44 people," said Sean Robinson of North Woodstock as he accepted the 2008 Plymouth State University Student Employee of the Year Award this past Tuesday.
Robinson serves as a residential life community adviser in Smith Hall, where he is responsible for the health and safety of nearly four dozen students on one floor. Robinson, a senior majoring in English, was among nine semifinalists for the Student Worker of the Year Award, which was chosen by a panel of six full-time employees.
PSU President Sara Jayne Steen presented Robinson with his award plaque, noting, "this is a great chance to celebrate student workers who make such a fine contribution to our community. Every student worker is a leader."
