The Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion will play host to Diana Krall this Friday as part of the 2009 Eastern Propane Summer Concert Series.

Krall's career exploded in 1999 when, "When I Look In Your Eyes" won a Grammy® for best jazz vocal and became the first jazz disc to be nominated for Album of the Year. In 2002, "The Look of Love" was a No. 1 best-seller. 2004's "The Girl in the Other Room" was her first to focus on her own songwriting, with six tunes co–written with husband Elvis Costello.

"Quiet Nights" is Krall's first full-length studio release since 2006's "From This Moment On."

Grammy Award-winning, international jazz superstar Krall will be touring coast-to-coast this year to promote her 12th studio album, "Quiet Nights," being released March 31.

Celebrating the highly anticipated new release, "Quiet Nights" takes listeners on a romantic and intimate journey through the textures of her ballads and bossa novas.

Even those already familiar with her breathy vocals and rhythmic lilt will be taken aback by just how far the music pushes into sweet surrender.

Tickets for Krall's performance are still available at the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion box office in Gilford, the Alton Traffic Circle Store and the Tanger Outlet Center in Tilton. To charge by phone, call 293-4700 or visit www.meadowbrook.net.
