State Polics D.A.R.E. Classic 5K race
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon will be the site for the 19th annual New Hampshire State Police D.A.R.E. Classic 5K Road Race on August 5.
The five-kilometer race will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be open to all runners. Pre-registration is $15 on or before July 27th, and $20 thereafter. Registration for the 5K race will also be take on the evening of the event. T-shirts will be given to the first three hundred runners who register. There will be team and individual awards for law enforcement category runners, as well as awards for individual men and women in nine age categories.

Laconia P&R hosting Annual Football Camp
The Laconia Parks & Recreation Dept. will be hosting its 4th Annual Football Camp the week of July 27 - 30. This is a full pad camp and the registration fee is $50. The camp will run from 5:30-7:30 and will be held on Bobotas field above Laconia High School. The camp is for area youth ages 7-13 who will be participating in tackle football this fall. It is open to any organization that wishes to send their players and is a great opportunity to be used as an organizational fundraiser. Registrations can be done at the Community Center in Laconia or on July 27th from 4:15 - 5:15 at Laconia High School. Pass Set Crush Volleyball Camp
Are you looking for a unique volleyball summer camp experience? If so, Pass Set Crush is the camp for you. Pass Set Crush is available for girls entering the 6th — 9th grade in the fall of 2009 and will take place July 12th — 16th. This is an overnight adventure camp with a concentration in volleyball and is located at Geneva Point Center on Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough. Gilford varsity coach Joan Forge directs the camp and the staff features several New Hampshire volleyball coaches and outstanding high school and college players. In addition to two daily sessions of volleyball, Pass Set Crush offers swimming, boating, kick box conditioning, country line dancing, relaxation techniques, pilate's, sunset canoe trip, low ropes course, water carnival, campfires, beach BBQ, and more. Annual soccer school in Wolfeboro set
The 20th annual Soccer School at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro will be held for boys and girls, ages 10 to 18. Soccer instruction will be given on the Winnipesaukee Lakeside soccer fields during the perfect week of August 16-20.
Soccer coaches from Japan, colleges in California and Texas will fly in to offer exact instruction. All meals, soccer balls, shirts, swimming, videotaping and strategy instruction is included in the tuition.

Capital Kickers soccer camps, directed by Gilford coach Dave Pinkham — a former National Boys Soccer Coach of the year, will be held at the new soccer fields at the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord the week of August 3-7. The Day Camp, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is for players ages 8-17. The Beginner's Camp, for children ages 5 and 6, will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and a Half-Day Camp is being offered for 7-year-olds to participate during the morning session of the Day Camp.

Soccer club preseason high school soccer camp
Lakes Region Soccer Club will host preseason high school soccer camp at Kingswood Regional High School from August 3-7 at the following times: boys and girls, grades 6-8 from 9 a.m. to noon; boys and girls, grades 9-12 from 5-8 p.m. Cost for the camps, which includes a free ball and t-shirt, is $102.
Great high or middle school preseason affordable camp — build your skills, training fitness, and play lots of games. The coaches for the camp are certified by the English Football Association and come from the United Kingdom with the experience neccessary to really challenge each player.

NEC to host Basketball Day Camps
The New England College men's basketball program will host their annual Basketball Day Camps this summer. Camp Dates are: Session I (boys) from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10 and Session II (girls) from Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24. Times are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $180 or $200 after June 1. All players receive a basketball and a Pilgrim Hoop Camp T-shirt!

The Coe-Brown Northwood Academy Soccer camps are now accepting registrations. The camps run from Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 7th. The CBNA Youth Soccer Camp for athletes entering grades 4 through 8 will run from 8 a.m. to noon.
The CBNA Soccer Academy will run from 1-5 p.m. The Soccer Academy for High School Athletes will feature a certified Strength & Conditioning Coach to aide in preseason conditioning.
