Patricia Ann Piorek
Piorek PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — Patricia Ann (Monette) Piorek of Tilton, N.H., and, most recently, of Pine Harbor, Plattsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012.
She was born Nov. 11, 1941, in Colchester, Vt., the daughter of Mitchell and Rosalie (Boulay) Monette.
Patricia was a graduate of D’Youville Academy, Plattsburgh, Albany Business College, and Plymouth (N.H.)
State College.
She retired from the Social
Security
Administration where she worked as a claims representative.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mitchell and Rosalie Monette, and her husband, Thaddeus Piorek Jr.
She is survived by a son, Thaddeus Piorek III of Manchester, N.H., and a daughter, Michele Piorek of Baltimore, Md. She also is survived by her sister, Claire, and her husband,
Joseph Coughlin, of Watertown; and her brother, Mitch, and his wife, Nancy, of Plattsburgh. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She served for more then 20 years in the Civil Air Patrol, attaining the rank of lieutenant colonel.
She was the director of administration for the Civil Air Patrol’s New Hampshire Wing Headquarters and later became the administrative assistant for the Northeast Region.
She enjoyed her retirement gardening, traveling and visiting friends and relatives.
Donations in memory of Pat may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
There will be no public calling hours. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 30, at 3 p.m. at Pine Harbor, 15 New Hampshire Rd., Plattsburgh, with Rev. Gilbert Boisvert, pastor of Holy Angels Church in Altona.
Interment will be at the NH State Veterans’ Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H.
