MATTHEWS TILTON — Arlene Matthews of Tilton died April 19, 2012, in Franklin.

She was born on Dec. 9, 1929, in Hill; resided in Hill, Ashland, and Franklin; and lived most of her life in Tilton.

Arlene retired after working at Tilton Endless

Belt for 40 years.

She adored animals and loved walking her two small dogs, Noelle and Angel. She enjoyed vacationing at the ocean and lakes in New Hampshire and Maine.

She was a very active member of Trinity Episcopal Church and served her church family tirelessly for more than 60 years, dedicating her time as directress of the St. Margret’s Altar Guild, sexton, and caring for the grounds and flower beds.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tilton.
