Marie A. Sinclair


SINCLAIR SINCLAIR HAMPTON — Marie A. Sinclair of Hampton, formerly of Laconia, passed away at Oceanside Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, June 8, 2012, after a period of declining health.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1942, in Wolfeboro, a daughter of the late Alcide J. and Gertrude M. (Collins) Berry.

Marie was an active member of the Center Harbor Christian Church for many years and also served as a church trustee. She loved playing bingo and was a huge Red Sox fan.

She is survived by her daughters, Helen Jacobus of Tribune, Kansas, and Ella Jewett of Newmarket; her sisters, Emma Bryan and family of Florida and Betty-Anne Shurman and family of Maine; four granddaughters; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by her loving family many friends.

Marie was a life partner of the late Lee Landry who died Jan. 27, 2007. She also was predeceased by her son, Edward Sinclair, and her sister, Jeannette Hutchins.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 17, in the Center Harbor Christian Church, 80 Bean Rd., Center Harbor. A gathering with refreshments will follow the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's name to the Center Harbor Christian Church at the above address.
