Karin Hayes
PLYMOUTH — Karin Hayes, 65, died at her home on July 15, 2012, following a period of failing health.
Born in Germany on October 20, 1947, she was the daughter of Gertrude Tuesel. She moved to San Pedro California in 1958.
Karin was a longtime resident of Ashland. She was employed at L.W. Packard as a spinner for many years, also at Frudenberg NOK in Ashland and at Walmart in Plymouth. She was a member of NHMRO. Karin enjoyed motorcycle riding, NASCAR, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots car shows, knitting, and spending time with her many friends.
She was predeceased by her mother, siblings, and a stepdaughter, Megan.
Survivors include her husband, John “Jack” Hayes, of Plymouth; two sons, Ron Niles of Ashland and Don Niles Jr. of Plymouth; one daughter, Theresa Norman of Acworth; one stepson, Michael Hayes of Falmouth, Mass.; three stepdaughters, Denise Goboni of Plymouth, Mass., Tonya Andrews of Plymouth, Mass., and Misty Platt of Tenn.; 26 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Dupuis Funeral Home, Hill Avenue, Ashland.
A funeral service will be held at the Ashland Baptist Church, Main Street, Ashland, on Thursday at 11 a.m.
Burial to follow at Green Grove Cemetery Ashland.
