TYLENDA NEW HAMPTON — Francis “Fritz” Tylenda died July 18, 2012, after a short illness.

He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and Syracuse University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

He was a veteran, serving in the US Army, and a graduate of the Army Language School at the Presidio at Monterey, Calif.

He will be remembered affectionately by his friends for his fine mind and quick wit.

He is survived by his wife, Prudence; sister Dianne McNamara; several nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-law Lance and Sandy Baker; and several Baker nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private, in the fall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the ASPCA or the US Humane Society.
