Colleen Dini Johnson
TILTON — Colleen Dini Johnson, 43, died suddenly in her home in Tilton on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
Colleen was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and graduated from Concord High School in Staten Island.
She moved to Boston, Mass., where she worked at Logan Airport and then at Massachusetts General Hospital. She later moved to Laconia and resided there for many years.
Colleen helped many people in her life through substance abuse programs. She was very much loved by her family and those she helped throughout her life and will be sorely missed.
Colleen is survived by her birth mother, Ramona Campbell-Gilbert, in Winchendon, Mass.; her adoptive mother, Connie Cali- Dini in Charlotte, N.C.; her son, Alex Campbell of Winchendon, Mass.; her daughter, Destiny Gauthier of Concord; her brother, Alan Dini and his wife, Eileen Fitzell-Dini, of Hallendale, Fla.; her sisters, Dina Dini of Staten Island, N.Y., and Tricia Dini and Karen Dini in North Carolina; her brother, Steve Dini in Texas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention.
There will be a memorial service for Colleen at Smart Memorial Home, 584 W. Main St., Tilton, on Friday, July 27, at 6:30 p.m. for family and friends.
There is also a memorial fund that has been set up in Colleen’s name at the Bank of New Hampshire, 62 Park St., Laconia, for those who want to contribute.
