LACONIA — Evelyn Peck, 86, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012.

Born in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, N.Y., on Aug. 7, 1925, she was the only surviving child of William and Lillian Lieberman.

A professional photographer, she made her home with her husband, Arthur, in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn. In 1994, Evelyn and Arthur happily retired to Laconia.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Arthur Peck, who passed away in 2009.

She is survived by her daughters Linda and Marilyn, sons-in-law Steven and David, and grandchildren Rebecca, Nate, William, and Heather.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, in the Temple B’nai Israel section of Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia. Shiva will be held at the home of her daughter, Linda, at 7 p.m., Tuesday evening.
